| A Mother's Day Surprise
The Best Laid Plans . . .
| Angie and Brad are planning a surprise for Mother’s Day. |
|
| A: |
I still need to make a reservation for dinner. Do you think 6:30 is too early? |
| B: |
That should be OK. I've taken care of the card and the flowers. |
| A: |
You mean, like you took care of the flowers last year? Mom was sneezing for a week from those daisies! |
| B: |
No, no. I've ordered her favorite flowers─ tulips. And here's the card. |
| A: |
Not bad. Give me a pen, and we can sign it now. (Angie writes a lot in the card.) |
| B: |
Angie! You didn't leave me room to write anything! |
| A: |
Sure I did. Do you see this spot on the back? If you write small, you can just fit your name. (Brad gives Angie a dirty look, but signs the card.) |
| B: |
Is there anything else we should do? |
